- Road to Recovery The Road to Recovery addiction support group ministers to those who are struggling with addiciton, family members who are trying to learn to cope with their loved one's disease, and those who are recovering from addiction.
- Men's Recovery Group - The men's group meets Tuesdays from 7:00-8:00AM at the Rivershyre Subdivision Clubhouse.
- AA Outreach Group - Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:45-8:30pm in Room 310.
- NA Vaders - Narcotics Anonymous meets Mondays from 8:00-9:00pm in Room 300. For more information, go to www.grscna.com.
- Joyful Women's Step Group- This AA group for women meets on Saturdays, 9:30-11:30 in Room 308.
- Family Issues
- Rainbows/Prism - Rainbows (for children kindergarten through 12th grade) is a peer support program designed to help children in changing families as they deal with death, divorce, or step-family challenges. Prism is the support group for parents, step-parents or guardians of the children in the Rainbows groups.
- Health Issues
- Cancer Support A support group for anyone with cancer and their caregivers, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
- Party in Pink
- Relay for Life Relay for Life is the signature event of the American Cancer Society, and an official outreach of The First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville.
- Healing Steps
- Grief Share - This seminar and support group is for people who are grieving the loss of someone close.
- Stephen Ministry - Stephen Ministry is a laity-based ministry designed to provide one-to-one Christian care to individuals who face times of personal difficulty.
- Healing Services - We meet in the Sanctuary at 8:00AM on the first Tuesday of each month for a service of prayer. Anyone who wishes may come to the altar and receive anointing and prayer for healing. For more information, please contact Sheri Smith, Minister of Congregational Care.
