Purpose: God calls us all to pray continually - to pray for those who are in trouble or who are ill, as well as devoting ourselves to prayer and searching for the peace that transcends all understanding. The Prayer Ministry is composed of people of God who are committed to prayer as a means of undergirding the ministries of the church.

Join us in the Upper Room on Tuesday, March 2 at 8:00AM for a service of prayer and worship, followed by coffee and fellowship.  It's a great way to start the day!  For more information, contact Rev. Sheri Smith.

Prayer and Healing Service   will be held in the Upper Room on the third Wednesday of each month from 6:30-7:30pm.  Please join us as we provide anointing with oil and lift up those who are in need of healing.  Our next service will be on Wednesday, February 24 (please note that this will be on the fourth Wednesday this month, due to the Ash Wednesday service on February 17) .

Children's Prayers from the Prayer Labyrinth

Our children had the opportunity to write prayer requests and to pray over them as they walked the Prayer Labyrinth - we would like to share a few of these amazing and heartfelt requests:

  • I'm praying for my dad.
  • Watch over my Mom she is going through tough times.
  • My Uncle Jerry is going to Iraq
  • Please help my dad find a new job. Please help those who pray for me.
  • God, please help me know you are the Almighty God.
  • That the soldiers remember that God loves you.
  • For my dad's cancer to go away forever.
  • For all the prayers not said.
  • Father, I bless you. My friend broke her arm, please let her feel better.
  • My Grandpa is ill and in a bad state.
  • For me to make a lot of new friends at my new school and for my grandaddy to get better!
  • All of those who are in pain.
  • Dear God, please help my dog get better.
  • I pray for my family and friends I hope they do well. I love them.
  • I love you God.
