Prayer Shawls
Jesus said, “Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples.” – John 13:34-35

The Prayer Shawl Ministry allows us to share God’s love, comfort and healing with those indivduals who are going through difficult situations. If you have love to share, and time to put your love into tangible items that wrap a needy one in God's love, join us. Just bring yourself - we'll have everything else you need.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry creates shawls, afghans, lap robes, chemo caps, preemie caps and other items to be given to those who are going through challenging circumstances, such as grief, hospitalization, chronic illness or other difficult times in life. The items are prayed over and are a tangible reminder of God's lover and the support of the church.

If you know of someone who is going through a challenging time, please contact Beverly Smith or Congregational Care.
